Annunciation en Plein Air

For the first time ever, we are excited to host a plein air event this fall on our new property at Annunciation in Saint James, MO! Organized by our very own Patricia Burmeister, this is a creative day of art education, painting, picnicking, and enjoying both artwork and good company. Register below by September 20th!

Schedule

What is Plein Air?

It’s a French term that means painting in the open air. In the art world, it refers to painting outdoors, where you get to directly experience the changing natural light and atmospheric conditions.

All Art Mediums Welcome

You bring the art supplies for your desired medium and your skills (from basic to advanced), and we’ll provide general guidance on creating artwork plein air.

All Ages Welcome

Each child under twelve years of age will need a parent to accompany them (one adult per child). This will ensure good supervision and safety for all.
