In 2023, Phelps County officials assessed the land where we were hoping to build, shared that it was too small, and said we would need to purchase more land to be able to build. In early 2024, our community grew (and continues to grow) past the size of our building plans. After a year of negotiations, on July 3, 2024 the church purchased 15 acres of land immediately next door. We spent 10 months building roads, infrastructure, and a building that will be our permanent parish hall, but for now will serve as both worship and fellowship space. By God’s grace, on the Great Feast of Pentecost, June 8, 2025 we moved into this new building.
Andrew Gould continues to work with us to design new (much larger) plans for our permanent limestone temple and bell tower for which we hope to launch the public capital campaign in 2026.
