Annunciation Family Camp 2023
For the first time ever we are hosting a family camp, at Camp Brim Shire in St. James, MO, just 15 minutes from Annunciation! Costs per person are extremely reasonable at $3 per day of attendance, $3.00 per night, and $5.00 per meal, or $100/person for the whole week!
The theme of this year’s family camp is:
“Let Your Light So Shine”

Sunday Evening
5:00 – Arrival
5:30 – Tour of Grounds and Unpack (sleeping assignments determined)
6:30 – Supper over the Campfire
7:30 – Evening Prayers and Talk
8:30 – Go to Cabin to prepare for bed
9:00 – Bed Time (Older kids and grown ups in bed whenever parents want)
Monday/Tuesday/Thursday
7:00 – Rise and Shine
8:00 – Morning Prayers
8:30 – Breakfast and Clean Up
9:30 – Talks (One for kids under 13, One for adults and 13+)
10:30 – Craft and Scripture Verse
11:30 – Group Activity (Scavenger Hunt, etc.)
12:30 – Lunch
1:00 – Kitchen and Cabin Clean Up / Quiet Time
2:00 – Afternoon Open Activities (Pool for up to 25 people with one-hour rotating turns, walking trails, sporting games, board games and puzzles at dining hall, axe throwing, ultimate tag, fishing, water balloon / squirt gun fight / service project on Thursday afternoon)
5:00 – Get ready for dinner
5:30 – Supper
6:00 – Kitchen Clean Up and Evening Activity (Vespers on Tuesday night, Capture the Flag, Ultimate Frisbee, Virginia Reel)
7:30 – Evening Prayers, Campfire
8:30 – Go to Cabin to prepare for bed
9:00 – Bed Time (Older kids and grown ups in bed whenever parents want)
Wednesday Morning Schedule Changes
8:00 – Rise and Shine
9:00 – Load Up to Drive to Church
9:40 – Hours and Liturgy for St. Paisios
12:00 – Coffee, Lunch back at camp
1:00 – Back to regular schedule

7:00 – Rise and Shine
8:00 – Morning Prayers
8:30 – Breakfast and Kitchen Clean Up
9:30 – Talk (all together)
10:30 – Campground Clean Up
